Individual Therapy
Individual therapy prioritizes creating a strong and trustworthy therapeutic alliance between the therapist and the client to foster a safe space for healing.
Individual therapy can help you better understand yourself by increasing self-awareness and emotional intelligence. Therapy can help you build different types of skills, such as communication, conflict resolution, boundaries, self-care, and reframing negative thoughts/beliefs.
It can help you identify patterns of behaviors that may be keeping you stuck or perhaps you have outgrown.
In addition, individual therapy can help clarify diagnoses by identifying symptoms through appropriate clinical assessments.
Individual therapy is often recommended if you are also participating in couples counseling, family counseling, or group counseling to create an intentional space to process these experiences.
