Therapeutic Specialities
Jailene specialized in Art Therapy during her master’s program and has completed licensure requirements as a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT). The state of North Carolina does not recognize expressive arts therapy licenses for insurance reimbursement. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of North Carolina.
Jailene has completed training in EMDR and Brainspotting. EMDR therapy uses bilateral stimulation to help the brain heal from previous distressing experiences. This treatment modality has been beneficial to individuals experiencing a range of challenges related to trauma, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, chronic illness, and many more. Click here for more information on EMDR.
Where we look affects how we feel. Brainspotting (BSP) supports clients in locating points in their visual field to help with greater access to unprocessed experiences. Brainspotting supports clients in building skills in self-awareness and self-healing. Click here for more information on BSP
